š§ Recipe: Nut-Free Choco-Rescue Brownies
Yields: 16 squares
Time: 10 min prep, 25ā30 min bake
Ingredients:
1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional, nut-free brand)
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until smooth and glossy.
Add in the eggs and vanilla extract. Mix well.
Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir until just combinedādonāt overmix!
Fold in the chocolate chips (if using) for extra gooeyness.
Pour batter into your prepared pan and spread evenly.
Bake for 25ā30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
